name = Hardeep Kaur & Chandan Bansal
location = Australia
description = A gurudwara that we know of has seating arrangements ie tables and chairs in the langar hall, is this acceptable? why or why not? the Gurudwara is a 2 storey with the Guru Granth Sahib Ji on the top fall and langar hall on the bottom floor, does this make a difference? Also is standing up and eating langar in the langar hall acceptable?
Another issue are inter caste marriages allowed? because according to the Guru Granth Sahib ji, it states that there is no such thing as caste, every one is equal we are all considered sikhs? hence on this note why are castes made such a big deal when it comes to marriage?
also is Singh and Kaur essential for sikhs to have attatched to their names? if one doesnt then what is considered of them?
another question we were just curious about is why men and women sit on different sides?
WAHEGURU JI KA KHALASA, WAHAEGURU JI  KI FATEH
